Types Of Alerts

The following alerts are available on the system, depending on your particular device, some of these alerts might not be avaialble.

BATTERY VOLTAGE: Use to warn of low vehicle main battery. Alert set to trigger when low voltage is detected from the device. Our internal threshold is set to 11.75 volts. If you need this number adjusted, please contact us, we can adjust it to a specific value for your account of needed.

EMPTY LANDMARK: Alert set to trigger when a landmarked area is does not have devices inside of it within a set time frame.

ENGINE HOURS: Use to track engine hour runtime. Alert set to trigger based on engine hours. Choose from continuous ongoing event, or only one time. Alert can be configured to alert at set threshold, or pre-alert, 10% from treshold. You can specify how many alerts you want sent out after the threshold has been met, as well as how many minutes apart.

IDLE: Use to save fuel, as dling can burn up to one gallon of fuel per hour. Alert set to trigger based on X minutes of idle time.

IGNITION ON/OFF: Alert triggers everytime an ignition event is detected, you can set on/off or both. Use to detect after hours driving, or anytime you want to know when a vehicle starts and stops.

LANDMARK: Use to get notified when a device enters/exits a specific area on the map you specify. Also known as gep-fence alerts.

MILEAGE: Use as a maintenance reminder, i.e. tire rotation, oil change, etc. Choose from continuous alerting, or only after one occurrence. Alert can be configured to alert at set threshold, or pre-alert, 10% from treshold. You can specify how many alerts you want sent out after the threshold has been met, as well as how many minutes apart.

MOTION: Alerts when motion is detected. Threshold can be set to alert after X minutes, as well as supress the alert for X minutes, once the first alert is received.

EXTERNAL POWER LOST: This alert triggers when the device has detected external power source has been lost. i.e. Someone disconnects the main battery to a vehicle.

POSTED SPEED: This alert triggers when the device exceeded posted speed. Note: There is a filter associated with this alert, Alert Trigger Filter. If you are experiencing false alerts, use this filter. Filter, triggers a posted speed alert only after X consecutive violations within a 90 second time frame. Default is set to on.

POWER CYCLE: This alert detects when a device has been re-connected to power. i.e. An OBD device that has been plugged back in. Use this alert, if you suspect someone tampering with a device.

REMINDER: Simple reminder alert.

SPEED THRESHOLD: Alert when device exceeds a speed you set.

TOW/TILT: Alert when device detects movement with ignition off, or when device is tilted (i.e. getting towed).

Alerts Limited To Specific Devices

HARD ACCELERATION: Flash Trac OBD2/Flash HW. Alerts upon rapid accleration of vehicle.

HARD BRAKING: Flash Trac OBD2/Flash HW. Alerts upon driver hard braking. Insurance companies use to metric to indicate drivers following to closely.

HARD CORNERING: Flash Trac OBD2/Flash HW. Alerts upon driver turning erratically.

INPUT ALERTS: Flash HW/FLASH ATEQ. Alert triggers when input signal is detected, either on/off or both.

SMART ONE C EVENTS: Location, re-centering and low battery alert.

SOS ALERTS: PT-8100. Alerts when SOS button Pressed.

BATTERY POWER: PT-8100 Battery Powered Portable GPS Tracking Device. Set alerts for Low Battery, when device connects, as well as the ability to report at a percentage of remaining battery that you can set.

DTC ALERT: Flash Trac OBD2. Alerts upon detection of DTC Code.
